Just join forums that allow you to place a signature that is shown at the end of your post. After all you are trying to get your blog out to as many eyeballs as possible. You can also try social networks to place your blog URL in to get some traffic. Now this should be enough to get you started. There are many different ways and techniques that can bring you in more traffic. You can dabble in that later.
